Lest We Forget: 10 years After 9-11
America pauses to honor the memory of the 2983 Americans who died on 9-11-2001.
So many things have changed since that fateful day, some positive some negative. If you watch or read about the memorials held today in New York, Washington, DC or Shanksville, PA - Americans pause and remember the 2983 victims of that day. The words of Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff had the ring of authenticity. Not ever speaker was in his league. Former President George W. Bush was greeted with applause when he approached the podium at Ground Zero in NYC.
