Senseless Rioting, Deaths, Destruction Spread In England - Should We Be Concerned?
Nights of rioting, have left citizens dead and over $300 million in destruction in England's major cities. Could similar acts take place in the US? Impossible? They have!
England is rocked by rioting that has left residents injured and dead and over $300 million in damage. London, Liverpool, Birmingham are among the cities that have taken on the atmosphere of urban war zones.
Flashmobs are inciting many of the riots. Why? Initially reported in the media as reaction to police killing an unarmed protestor, the riots have quickly become frenzied opportunities to strike out by random citizens. Looting is going on unchecked as police attempt to contain, forget about restoring, order. Firefighters have been pelted by rioters.
British police have responded poorly to the point that ordinary citizens are frightened to leave their homes and are at the mercy of rioters. Thinking back to New Orleans after the hurricane, the English are at a marked disadvantage: handguns are illegal in the UK and firearms in general are highly restricted for the general population.
