The price of gas is ridiculous. I'm sure by now that some people have different ways of trying to save a little money per gallon of gas. What I do is drive over the Woonsocket line into Massachusetts when I can to go to the Super Stop & Shop's gas station. I paid $3.74 a gallon after using my Stop & Shop card and the points that we had accumulated on it. $3.74 a gallon. It is pretty sad when I think that that price is cheap.
One way I try to save when I am able to is by going to www.gasbuddy.com. By entering the zip code of where you are going to get gas, you can shop around for the best prices. This website also tells you where the most expensive gas can be found, if you feel like wasting money.
Another way my family has tried to save money on gas is by making only necessary trips with our vehicles. No more extra trips to the store unless it's to the Little General convenience store across the street, which is within walking distance.

As much as I like the space and feel of my mini-van, I am considering trading it in when we are able to for a car that costs less to fuel. Gone are the days of just filling up whenever. If you are still able to fill up your gas tank without wincing, I salute you. Until then, I will continue to find ways to try to save on gas when and where I can.
