Woodstock Fair - Always Labor Day Weekend, a New England Tradition Since 1809
Woodstock Agricultural Society hosts the 2011 edition of its world-class fair in nearby Woodstock, CT. Stop by and enjoy fun for the entire family.
In nearby Woodstock, CT the Woodstock Fair is running through Labor Day as it has since 1809. Sponsored by the Woodstock Agricultural Society, of which I am a Life Member, local farmers bring their prize crops and animals to compete for ribbons and bragging rights as they have for generations. A midway with rides to thrill and rattle bones; craft tent with many vendors and an endless number of food offerings make this a must do event to mark the end of the summer.
I have entered several competitions in the past and placed in photography and canning! My pickled eggs won a blue ribbon!
Plenty of parking - cost $5, entrance fee of $12 for adults, this is worth checking out at www.woodstockfair.com. Enjoy, you may see neighbors.
