Community Care Alliance Hosting Champions Music Series
Community Care Alliance hosting Champions Music Series at Chan's in Woonsocket. First concert on April 30th will feature The Love Dogs

Community Care Alliance (CCA) is hosting its 13th Community Champions Music Series at Chan’s Eggroll & Jazz, 267 Main Street, Woonsocket, RI on April 30th and May 21st; concerts begin at 7:00pm. The music series event honors people who have contributed their time, energy and skills to create positive change in the community. Proceeds from the event, which is open to the public, support CCA’s programs. Tickets are $15 and can be reserved by calling Wendy Pires at 235-7245 or email at WPires@CommunityCareRI.org. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Honorees for the April 30th concert are Chief Thomas Carey, Woonsocket Police Department; Steven Bacon, Associate Pastor of Harvest Community Church; and Lori Ziegler Halt, Human Resources Manager at CCA. Live music will be provided by The Love Dogs whose superb musicianship earned them “Best New England Band” by Blues Audience magazine.

The May 21st concert will honor Kate Brewster, Executive Director of the Economic Progress Institute; Rita Gandhi, Finance Director/VITA Program Leader, CCA; and Pamela Messore, Director of Outpatient Services, CCA. Live music will be provided by Becky Chace whose powerful voice earned her the honor of Best Americana Female Vocalist by Motif Magazine.
