CSP UNITED SWEPT OUT THE FALL
Delmore's four-goal performance overwhelms Duxbury; goes undefeated
REGION—Halle Delmore found the back of the net four times on Sunday morning to give the visiting CSP United U10 Girls a convincing victory over hosts Duxbury United and propelled the team to a 8-0-1 mark for the MAPLE League Fall season.
Delmore scored four straight times to spark CSP’s offense. Mya Miller led off the scoring less than 30 seconds into the game with a shot from inside the goalie box. Things were quiet until Delmore went on her scoring rampage. She scored from a variety of angles and positions on the field. After Delmore finished her outburst, Maggie Ray and Alexandra Guerra each lit the scoring lamp to provide the remaining offense for CSP United.
The defense did not have much work to do, but when they did, CSP United was ready. Stasia Todd had a phenomenal game on defense taking on and winning balls from taller opponents. Elizabeth Luca and Miller also had strong games, which practically gave goalkeeper Kaitlyn Berger the day off.

Other players had chances to get onto the scoreboard. Mary “Spider” Daley had a couple of chances in front of the Duxbury net. Katie Jakubiak was also close on a couple of tries. Madelyn Dion made a beautiful save on a Duxbury shooter before the game expired.
Thanks to the defensive play, CSP United not only did not lose a contest during the fall season but they only allowed two goals in eight games, one resulting from a penalty shot.

CSP United played their second game of its winter schedule at Wide World at Indoor Sports in North Smithfield on November 15 and earned a 2-2 draw against Pawtucket.
Mackenzie Lavallee led the scoring for the team with two goals for CSP United. Her first goal was a blast from the right wing that found the far corner of the net. Pawtucket tied the game a few minutes later with a shot from the left wing that got passed everyone. Lavallee gave CSP United retook the lead when Lavallee’s shot sailed over the keeper’s right side, but Pawtucket evened the contest again moments later.
Sienna Morris showed some good passing in the contest that led to several chances. Rachael Grieve hit the post to the keeper’s right. Ava Normandin was robbed with her bid in front and the Pawtucket defense cleared out any potential trouble.
CSP United is now 0-1-1 during its winter schedule. They will be involved in a Thanksgiving tournament later this month.
