Register your child going into grades K to 5 for the summer reading game at the library. Kids are asked to read 6 books from the time they get out of school to the day school starts. For each book read, kids will receive lots of prizes including a free ice cream cone at McDonalds, a free kids meal at Subway on Clinton St a free slice of pizza at Papa Ginos and much much more for our summer readers. Sign up starting June 27th. Programs start July 5th!!
Funding&Support for the RI statewide summer reading program includes a grant from the US Institute fo Museum and Library Services through the RI Office of Library & Information Services, McDonald's Local Owners. Local sponsors are Walnut Hill Bowl, Rubber Chicken Comics, Papa Gino's, Ice Cream Parlour & Restaurant and Subway Clinton Street & Friends of Woonsocket Library.
