Woonsocket Man Arrested On Crack Cocaine Charge During Traffic Stop: Cops

WOONSOCKET, RI — A Woonsocket man was arrested on a charge of possessing crack cocaine during a Wednesday afternoon traffic stop, police said.

Luke Anastas, 33, was pulled over on River Street in Woonsocket about noon, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Anastas was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned as a probation violator and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions — Men's Intake Center, according to the release.
