Excelsior Drum & Bugle Corps of New York to Headline Autumnfest Parade

This year’s Autumfest parade in Woonsocket will be led by the Excelsior Drum and Bugle Corps from Troy, New York.

The 2015 Autumnfest Steering Committee’s Chairwoman Linda Plays said that the 40-member group recently competed in the Turning Point Drum and Bugle Corps Invitational and perform all over New York.

“Please join me in welcoming these young men and women as they march in the 10th division in this year’s 37th Annual Autumnfest Parade,” she said.

The Autumnfest parade is Monday Oct. 12, 2015. It begins at 9:30 AM and steps off from Diamond Hill Plaza on Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket. The parade route travels down Diamond Hill Road and takes a left on to Social Street. Parade ends at the entrance to World War II Veterans Memorial Park, the home of Autumnfest.
