How Much Snow Did Woonsocket Get?

The Blizzard of 2015 is finally over and Woonsocket is starting to get back to its normal routine.

Enough snow accumulated for the state to issue a travel ban and to cancel classes for Woonsocket Public Schools.

The travel ban may now be lifted, but school’s still out for some lucky students who get to enjoy the white wonderland.

So, how much snow really fell in Woonsocket?

According to the National Weather Service, Woonsocket received a total of 16 inches of snow as of 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Woonsocket got off easy compared to other towns in Providence County.
