Updated: Blackstone Manhunt Over: Man Wanted in Connection to Murder of 83-Year-Old Father in Custody

Walter Armstrong's body was discovered last night in his home. His son Glenn is a person of interest.

BLACKSTONE, MA— Update: Mount Laurel, N.J, Police Department has placed Glenn Armstrong in custody in their town. Details are limited at this time but initial reports indicate that Armstrong was operating the 1995 Chevrolet S10 when it ran out of gas in the area of Mt. Laurel, said the Worcester County District Attorney's Office. He was taken into custody without incident in a hotel parking lot. He was arrested on a Massachusetts warrant for failing to submit DNA. The Worcester County District Attorney's Office will work toward bringing Mr. Armstrong back to Worcester County.

Glenn Armstrong has been named as a person of interest in his 83-year-old father's suspicious death last night.

Glenn, 48, is wanted in connection with the death of Walter Armstrong. Glenn's last known address was 36 Summer St. in Blackstone.

Glenn may be driving a black 1995 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck with an extended cab in the rear. The vehicle is pictured above and below.

He has a tattoo of a Native American female on his chest and surgical scars on his back.

Glenn also has a warrant out for his arrest in an unrelated matter.
