MA Man Jailed In Rhode Island, Charged With Missing Court For Drug Case: Cops
The Massachusetts man was pulled over and arrested in Woonsocket, police said.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A Massachusetts man was jailed in Rhode Island on a charge of missing court for a drug case, police said.
Wayne Marchand, 58, was arrested about 3:15 p.m. Saturday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court for a possession of a controlled substance case, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Marchand was pulled over and arrested on Bernon Street in Woonsocket, police said.

Marchand was processed at state police headquarters and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center, according to the release.
