Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing/Finance
• A Master's Degree preferred
• Retail experience is a plus but not required
• 6 to 10 years experience in an analytical, merchandising and/or buying capacity with some management experience
• Technical experience should include MS Office, knowledge of (Nielsen) market data, knowledge of (IRI) market date, Excel and Access
• Demonstrated working experience in Marketing Strategies, vendor and product negotiations, item and promotional pricing along with item selection is required.
• Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
• Must be a business leader and a calculated risk taker

Liberty Tax Service in Woonsocket is looking for a Marketing Person during the upcoming tax season. Employment is seasonal, from the beginning of January through April 15.

The person will be tasked with building our brand awareness, as well as generating publicity for the office. The main objective will be to bring new clients into the Woonsocket location. Tasks include introducing tax services to local businesses and the community, and handing out coupons and other promotional pieces. Much of the work is face-to-face with potential clients. To excel in this position, you will need to be energetic, enthusiastic and outgoing. Much of your day will be spent talking and meeting people and businesses. You will be trained to execute the Liberty guerilla marketing strategy.
