One Dead, Nine Displaced after Logee Street Fire

The fire broke out early Tuesday morning.

A fire that broke out early Tuesday morning at 342 Logee St. has claimed the life of a 66-year-old man and displaced nine residents.

Firefighters said a dog perished in the fire and a cat was critically injured in the blaze that destroyed the multi-family home.

Another resident broke a foot during the evacuation.

Firefighters continue to investigate the cause of the fire.

342 Logee St. is owned by Robert A. DeLuca, according to city records. The 3,263 square-foot home was built in 1900.
