One Suspect Arrested in Woonsocket Shooting: One Still Being Sought

WOONSOCKET, RI—On Wednesday, police arrested Diego Garcia, 27, of Woonsocket. He is a suspect in the March 4 shooting at 27 Foundry St.

Garcia is being charged with two counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon; Possession of a Firearm after being convicted in a Crime of Violence; Use of a Firearm while Committing a Crime of Violence; Firing in a Compact Area; and Disorderly Conduct.

"The Woonsocket Police are still actively searching for Joshua Rojas for that same shooting," Det. Sgt. Matthew Ryan said. Anyone with information is urged to contact police at 401-766-1212 or anonymously at 769-4444.
