• Couple saves rescue animals as fire tears through Woonsocket home (turnto10.com) — A Woonsocket couple and their many rescue pets escaped a pre-dawn fire on Hamlet Avenue, thanks to quick action by family and first responders. Every animal survived, and neighbors, a local landlord, and church members are now helping them with housing and furnishings while investigators determine what caused the blaze.
