Rhode Island Fast Ferry, the fastest growing marine transportation company in Rhode Island, is hiring.

Located in Quonset Point, North Kingstown, RIFF has immediate openings for deckhands on board its high-speed ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and for Ticket Agents landside in their office.

These are full-time, seasonal positions working through October that pay competitive wages, the company says.

Applicants must be self-motivated, hardworking, have a positive attitude and possess the ability to interact well with passengers and coworkers.

Deckhands are responsible for greeting passengers, line handling while docking, loading passengers and luggage, the safety and security of the passengers and vessel, various cleaning responsibilities, and some light mechanical maintenance.

Ticket Agents staff the office and reservation phone lines. They are part travel agent, part salesperson, part customer service representative.
