State Police Arrest Woonsocket Man On Assault Warrant
State Police said Marco Anthonio Mercado, 31, of Woonsocket was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Providence on Thursday.
WOONSOCKET, RI — State Police charged a Woonsocket man on an outstanding warrant for simple domestic assault on Thursday. The arrest of Marco Antonio Mercado Jr., 31, came during a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in West Greenwich.
The arrest warrant was issued out of Providence. Mercado was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and turned over to the Providence Police Department.
