State Police Arrest Woonsocket Man On Shoplifting Warrant
State Police said Kenneth Leblanc, 31, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for shoplifting during a traffic stop in Providence.
WOONSOCKET, RI — State Police arrested a Woonsocket man for failure to appear in court for a cost review on a shoplifting charge during a traffic stop in Providence on Tuesday. Police said Kenneth Leblanc, 31, was stopped about 11 a.m. on Tuesday on Cranston Street in Providence.
Police said Leblanc failed to appear in superior court on the warrant that originated out of the North Smithfield Police Department. He was taken to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and turned over to Providence Superior Court.
