The Version 1 album had the songs "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" on it and the songs "Ask Me Why" and "Please Please Me" omitted.

This album featured the chart topping title "Please Please Me." It also featured Ringo singing "Boys" - his only vocal on the album - and George singing "Do You Want to Know a Secret," his only stab at lead vocals on the album.

The album also featured "I Saw Her Standing There," a track that proved John and Paul could write solid rock and roll when they wanted to.

Introducing The Beatles peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 1963.
