Woonsocket Man Charged With Domestic Crimes & Past Child Molestation

WOONSOCKET, RI — Christian Joel Gonzalez, 27, was charged on June 26 at 4:24 p.m. with felony child molestation. The incidents were reported by the victim in 2014. The molestation allegedly happened in Woonsocket some 20 times between 2003 and 2010. The victim was between 10 and 17. For part of that time, Gonzalez was also a juvenile. He is four years older than the victim, who is a relative.
He was also charged with Domestic Assault or Battery and with Domestic Disorderly Conduct, both misdemeanors. Those charges stem from an incident on June 25.
