Woonsocket Man Charged With Leaving Crash In Stolen Car
State Police said Daniel Peterson, 36, was charged with driving a vehicle without owner's consent, reckless driving, leaving scene of crash.

WOONSOCKET, RI — State Police said a Woonsocket man left the scene of a crash in a car he was not authorized to drive in Woonsocket on Thursday morning. Daniel Peterson, 36, was charged with driving a vehicle without consent of its owner, failure to stop for an accident resulting in damage, reckless driving and obstruction.
State Police said a barracks investigation into the accident led to a vehicle stop on Privilege Street where Peterson was arrested.
Peterson was taken to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and turned over to the Third District Court for arraignment.
