Woonsocket Man Indicted by Providence Grand Jury

WOONSOCKET, RI—Alfredo Rivera, 46, will face a trial over allegations he molested a child, age 14 or under, the state Attorney General's office said. According to court records, Rivera, of Woonsocket, was indicted by the Providence Grand Jury last week. The charge is first-degree child molestation. Rivera allegedly committed the crime in Woonsocket around Oct. 8, 2016. Arraignment is set for May 17 in Providence County Superior Court.
