Woonsocket Men Charged On Outstanding Warrants: State Police
State Police said Devin Slobogan, 22, and Kelvin Torres, 18, were arrested on outstanding warrants for separate crimes.

WOONSOCKET, RI —State Police arrested two Woonsocket men on outstanding warrants in separate incidents on Sunday. Police said Devin Slobogan, 22, was arrested on an affidavit arrest warrant for obtaining money under false pretenses, while Kelvin Torres, 18, was arrested on an affidavit arrest warrant for simple assault out of Pawtucket.
Police said Slobogan was arrested about 2:30 a.m. on the original charge out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks after a joint investigation by State Police and the Woonsocket Police Department. He was taken to Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned and released.
Torres was arrested at a traffic stop on Route 146 in Providence at about 4 p.m. on the warrant for simple assault. He was taken to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
