Woonsocket Police Log: Man Caught Looting Vehicles In Chelo's Parking Lot
The following arrest information was supplied by the Woonsocket Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Caught with the evidence
Miguel Angel Colon, 55, of 241 Rathbun St. was arrested in the Burger King/Chelo's Parking lot last week after police responded to a call reporting suspicious activity. Colon was reportedly found inside a white van through which he appeared to be rummaging and according to police, appeared very drunk. Searching Colon, police found a Droid phone, designer sunglasses, a digital camera and medication prescribed to someone else. Colon allegedly told officers "I found that stuff walking around."
Police checked the lot and found two more vehicles which were unlocked and appeared to have been rummaged. They also found a stashed pile of property in the lot which included a woman's wallet, a cannon camera, a change purse and a tape measure. Police located the owners of the vehicles in Chelo's. All of the property was claimed by a couple who told police they were visiting Woonsocket for a family graduation.

Assault on estranged brother
Andrew Plante, 22, of Bellingham, MA was arrested last week for domestic assault and disorderly conduct in front of Ye Olde English. An officer that was monitoring Cityside bar as patrons left allegedly watched Plante jump from a truck and begin hitting another man. As police approached, Plante was found grasping the man by his collar swinging "wildly." Plante told officers the 29 year-old victim was his brother and that they hadn't spoken in years. Plante said that the victim had thrown something in the truck window as he drove by and he lost his temper.
