Woonsocket Police Offer Reward In Vandalism Case

WOONSOCKET, RI — The Woonsocket Police Department is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a person who has vandalized the side of a Main Street building several times in recent weeks. Woonsocket police said the letters "B-R-I" were spray-painted on the rear side of 2 Main Street at the intersection of Arnold Street and Main Street.

Woonsocket police said the vandalism was done in the overnight hours with the last incident taking place early Tuesday morning. Security video shows the suspect wearing dark clothing, a hoodie or hat, and carrying what is believed to be a high-pressure paint canister.
