• Mount Pleasant Police Department warns drivers following string of car break-ins (live5news.com) — Two vehicles stolen in a Mount Pleasant crime spree were recovered in Awendaw, tying this string of car break-ins directly to our area. Mount Pleasant police say 25 unlocked vehicles were burglarized, three cars and a firearm were stolen, and they’re urging residents to lock cars nightly, remove valuables, and report any suspicious late-night activity or security footage.
