The suspects, from Pineland, face multiple felony and larceny charges, and anyone with information is urged to contact the sheriffβs office or submit an anonymous tip online or via app.

Gullah Memorial Day history theater show planned (savannahherald.com) β Bluffton audiences can experience Gullah history on stage when βDaβ Gullah American Revolutionary Experienceβ comes to May River Theatre July 18β19, with multiple family-friendly showtimes. The Gullah Traveling Theatreβs musical series explores Gullah Geechee contributions to Memorial Dayβs origins and the American Revolution, blending storytelling, music, and local Lowcountry history with limited seating and tiered ticket prices.

SC Cross Country and Track and Field Job Openings (milesplit.com) β Bluffton High School is hiring an assistant track and field coach to work with sprints or jumps athletes for the upcoming season, offering a stipend-based role focused on technical development and mentorship. Applicants need prior coaching or competitive experience, CPR/First Aid certifications, and availability for weekday practices and meets, and should email Athletic Director Todd Stewart with a resume and introduction.

Salute From the Shore returns for 17th Independence Day flyover along South Carolina coast (wbtw.com) β Military jets, a C-17, Apache helicopters, and vintage warbirds will roar down the South Carolina coast on July 4, with the route ending over the Beaufort and Bluffton areas. Residents planning to watch from local beaches should be ready around 1 p.m., expect gaps between aircraft, and avoid flying kites while the low-flying helicopters pass.
