• 'Service, Sacrifice and Impact': U.S. Military Heroes Honored Aboard Historic USS Yorktown (military.com) — A Bluffton Purple Heart recipient, MSgt Sean Kaspar, was honored with the American Hero Award during a military recognition ceremony aboard the USS Yorktown in Mount Pleasant. The event celebrated service members, fallen heroes, and organizations that support veterans as Memorial Day approaches and the nation nears its 250th anniversary.
