The 93-room property sits near Tanger Outlets and Charleston International Airport, and brokers say it marks their 17th hotel sale in the area in five years.
4. New historical marker highlights Folly Beach connection to 'Porgy and Bess' (counton2.com) — A new historical marker at the Porgy House on Folly Beach now honors the place where George Gershwin and DuBose Heyward shaped Porgy and Bess, rooted in 1920s Charleston.
