Here are the top three stories today in Charleston:
- The Charleston Baseball Hall of Fame has released the list of Class of 2022 candidates. Local fans will now vote for the incoming hall of fame class with a total of five votes per participant. The voting will conclude on Sunday, Jul. 24. Click for the full list of candidates and descriptions. (Live 5 News)
- The North Charleston Police Department held its third community party on Friday night. The event held at Pepperhill Park included games, food, and facetime with local law enforcement officers. The community parties are meant to connect the community with the North Charleston Police Department. There will be more Fun Fest Fridays throughout the summer. (WCBD News 2)
- The 'Are You OK?' project captures the voice of Charleston's transgender youth. The project offers free portrait sessions with photographer Jesse Freiden.
