🌱 Flash Flood Warning + Identifying 3 Theft Suspects

First, today's weather:

A t-storm around in the a.m. High: 84 Low: 73.


Here are the top three stories today in Charleston:

  1. The National Weather Service Charleston issued a flash flood warning on Thursday night for the Charleston region. The warning was extended to midnight as thunderstorms persisted throughout North Charleston and Ladson. As much as 4 inches of rain fell during the incident. Several roads became impassible due to the rising water level. (News 2)
  2. The Charleston Police Department is asking the community to help it identify three different suspects. The individuals are reportedly involved in a series of downtown Charleston thefts. The department has shared surveillance footage of the three individuals. Anyone with information about the suspects is directed to contact the department immediately. (Live 5 News)
  3. A Charleston man is facing charges after allegedly stealing from his own workplace. The man is a manager at a West Ashley Zaxby's restaurant. He has been accused of stealing nearly $5,000 from the fast food chain's safe. (WTMA)
