Here are the top stories in Charleston today:

  1. The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified a 24-year-old man as the victim in a North Charleston double shooting. Ra'shod Arkeem Washington-Moody of North Charleston died on Saturday from a gunshot wound at the Charleston Heights Motel. A second victim, a woman, was also located at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  2. The Charleston County Public Library and Lowcountry Food Bank began hosting the "Kids Café Snack Program" on Monday. The program provides free healthy snacks from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and will continue through Friday, Sept. 17. Children 18 and younger can receive free, healthy snacks at four different locations.   3. The North Charleston Fire Department responded to a fire near Windsor Hill Blvd. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  4. Carnival Cruise Line has announced they will suspend Charleston cruises until an undisclosed date in 2022. (Charleston Regional Business)
  5. On Sept. 14, The City of Charleston will begin celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with activities planned over the span of more than four weeks. (Charleston Currents)
