• MUSC students, professors provide wheelchairs to children in Uganda (live5news.com) — Students and professors from MUSC in Charleston are helping provide durable, locally repairable wheelchairs to children in Uganda, while gaining hands-on training that feeds back into their health professions education. The Uganda Wheelchair Project has already supplied about 100 bamboo-based chairs this year, designed for rough terrain and daily tasks like getting water, going to school, and accessing work.
