  1. The Charleston County Council is considering a new middle school and high school in the Awendaw-McClellanville area. The proposed complex would be along North Highway 17 and Jenkins Hill Road. Currently students who live in this area have to commute about 25 miles to Wando High School. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  2. The City of Charleston's Low Battery Seawall Project will receive a statewide honor at Tuesday's city council meeting. The South Carolina section of the American Society of Civil Engineers will present the city with the 2021 South Carolina Technical Merit Award for its work on the project.
