Hundreds gather for the Celebration of life for fallen CCSO Deputy Michael Hendricks (counton2.com) — Charleston County residents and law enforcement filled a memorial service to honor Deputy Michael Hendricks, who died in a line-of-duty crash on Ladson Road. Speakers, including Sheriff Carl Ritchie and Hendricks' family, remembered his dedication to policing and his devotion as a father, as he was posthumously promoted and saluted with a helicopter flyover and 21-gun tribute.
