- High levels of Enterococcus bacteria have been discovered at eight local sites. The locations were discovered by Charleston Waterkeeper's test of 20 sites. Hendricks Park, Northbridge Park, Brittlebank Park, the Ashley River, lower Ellis Creek, and all three portions of Shem Creek have been identified as having high levels.
