RCSD narcotics agents find 30 grams of the drug while attempting to serve a warrant.

Richland County Sheriff's narcotics agents have arrested three local men for methamphetamine possession, Sheriff Leon Lott said Friday.
Arrested were: Douglas Pyke, 37, for trafficking methamphetamine, Kenan Palmer Kurhan, 33, for possession of methamphetamine, and Steven James Carlton, 21, for possession of methamphetamine.Â
Lott stated that at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, RCSD narcotics agents were about to serve a narcotics warrant at 827 Arrowwood Road when a Black Prius pulled out of the driveway. Deputies stopped the vehicle and found Kurhan, a resident of the home, driving the car. Lott stated that Kurhan advised deputies he had methamphetamine in his car and inside the home.Â
Lott said that deputies conducted a search of the house and arrested Pyke, and Carlton for narcotics; both men were living at the residence at the time of arrest.Â
Lott said that Pyke had 29 grams of methamphetamine in his room, agents also found methamphetamine in Kurhan’s car (total weight of crystal methamphetamine was approximately 30 grams).Â
