Columbia-Richland Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins participated in the traditional pinning ceremony July 20 at the Columbia City Council chambers July 20.
Jenkins has acted as interim fire chief since March 2010. Jenkin's son, Emmanuel Jenkins, pinned the official fire chief badge on his father's uniform at the ceremony.
