Richland County Receives Highest Finance Award

For the twenty-ninth consecutive year, the Richland County Office of Finance is being recognized for its outstanding financial reporting efforts. The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States has awarded the Richland County Office of Finance the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR). 

The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
