SC School Boards Association Recognizes Richland One School Commissioner

Richland One School Commissioner Aaron Bishop earned recognition from the S.C. School Boards Association for achievement in the Boardmanship Institute.

Bishop reached level two out of six in the Boardmanship Institute, a program that provides training and offers statewide conferences to help board members stay informed about national and state education issues.

Board members move up a level by earning points for their participation in workshops on school law, advocacy and legislation, improving board operations, finance, leadership for improving student achievement and other timely topics.
