The SC Youth Advocate Program is a licensed nonprofit agency that seeks to recruit, train, and advise families seeking to open their homes to children in foster care. We invite the community to join us at these training sessions to learn more about the process of becoming a foster parent, the supports that are in place for foster families within the agency and throughout the community, and to receive training that will give families the skills and knowledge to be successful foster parents. There will be a Foster Care License Coordinator and other support staff at the meeting to answer questions and assist families. To register for training, call (803) 779-5500.
