A Midlands woman shares her election year story with Patch.

Henley Ellis and her husband have three kids — two sons, 11 and 14, and a 9-year-old daughter.

Ellis and her husband, who live in the St. Andrews area, have been married for almost 15 years.

The economy has taken a toll on their family of five in recent years.

Ellis shared with Patch what she hopes the presidential candidates will do to turn things around.
