  1. Voting in the upcoming municipal Columbia elections on Nov. 2? Check out the changes to some polling locations. Verify your voter registration at www.scvotes.org or call the Richland County Elections and Voter Registration Office at (803) 576-2240. (WLTX.com)
  2. Two men from Columbia have been arrested in Grand Island, Nebraska, after a traffic stop search located 132 pounds of marijuana and a loaded gun in the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Darius Rice, 24, and passenger, Alexus Webber, 21, were arrested for possession of marijuana -- more than one pound, possession with intent to deliver, no drug tax stamp, and possession of a firearm during a drug violation.   3. The Walk to End Alzheimer's event will take place this Saturday, Oct. 30 at Segra park. Registration begins at 9 a.m. (Abccolumbia.com)
  4. The South Carolina State Farmers Market is partnering with West Columbia-based Bill's Music Shop and Pickin' Parlor to host an inaugural Bluegrass Festival. The festival will be held at the Farmers Market this Saturday, Oct. 30 from noon to 5 p.m. (ColaDaily.com)
