Columbia High's Winter Sports Season Kicks Off

The basketball and wrestling teams compete in their first games and matches this week.

The winter sports season kicks off this week with the Columbia High basketball and wrestling teams opening their seasons.

The boys and girls varsity basketball teams will open their season at Brookland Cayce Tuesday evening.

The wrestling team's season starts Friday with the Palmetto State Classic at Irmo High School.

Here are this week's games and matches.

Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball

Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Brookland Cayce 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 at Dreher 6 p.m.

JV Boys Basketball

Monday, Nov. 28 Brookland Cayce 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 Dreher 6:45 p.m.

B-team Basketball

Thursday, Dec. 1 Dreher 5:30 p.m.

Wrestling

Friday, Dec. 2 Palmetto State Classic at Irmo High School 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 Palmetto State Classic at Irmo High School 9 a.m.
