Council Meeting, Story Time and Richland 101

Here are five things to keep you informed and busy this week in St. Andrews.

This week's weather will be a little more bearable than last week's. Highs will be in the 90s all week with a chance of scattered thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday, according to weather.com. Wednesday and Thursday will be partly cloudy. 

Richland County Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday for a special-called meeting. On the agenda is the third reading of an ordinance that establishes new electoral districts for the election of members of the council. Richland County's "" event is Thursday at Dutch Square Mall. This free event teaches children ages six to 12 about the county government in a fun atmosphere. Students can climb inside a real fire truck and ambulance, learn about animal care and eat a free meal.
