Councilwoman Named Chair of FCC Committee
The Richland County councilwoman will help advise the FCC on telecommunications issues.

Richland County Councilwoman Joyce Dickerson will join other state and local leaders from across the nation as a member of a Federal Communications Commission committee. Â
Dickerson, who represents the St. Andrews area on county council, will serve as the chair of the Intergovernmental Advisory Committee to the FCC.Â
Members of the committee will make recommendations on telecommunications issues such as expanding broadband in underserved communities and improving public safety communications.Â
