County Council to Broadcast Meetings
The decision is a step toward transparency, council members say.

Richland County Council members voted unanimously Tuesday to start streaming and broadcasting their meetings.Â

The county already bought the $61,000 in equipment, according to a report from the Free Times. Another $3,500 was budgeted yearly to cover the streaming costs.Â
