  1. The Columbia Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting from over the weekend. The incident happened early in the morning of Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021. Officers responding to a call in the 2500 block of Cherry Street, just off Millwood Avenue, found an injured 39-year-old man. It is believed the man had gotten into an argument with another individual shortly before the shooting occurred. (WLTX.com)
  2. Investigators with the Columbia Police Department's Special Victims Unit are searching for a 33-year-old man, Lydell Anthony Keith Jr. Keith was reported missing by his father after he was discharged from the hospital. The father said his son was supposed to seek additional medical treatment in another county but did not make it to the final destination. (ColaDaily.com)
  3. Over 2,000 Columbia elementary students will receive free cyber security safety education. (WIS10)
  4. A Monday morning crash on Interstate 26 near downtown Columbia left two lanes closed, according to the S.C. Department of Transportation. (The State)
  5. The City of Columbia has moved its Payment Center to a new location. On Monday, city officials held a grand opening and ribbon cutting at the new City of Columbia Payment and Customer Care Center off Harden Street. (Abccolumbia.com)
