Deputies Search for Suspect in Motor Vehicle Theft

The Richland County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the person who stole a truck and a trailer in Blythewood this week. 

According to deputies, the supsect stole a red truck and an enclosed trailer holding a 1964 Ford Falcon from Royson's Automotive in Blythewood. Surveillance cameras caught the person pulling off with the truck and trailer around 3:40 a.m. Monday, deputies said. 

The truck is described by deputies as a red Super Duty four-door extra cab 1999 Ford F-350 with Harley Davidson emblems on it. The 28-foot trailer has "Royson Blythewood Automotive" and "Ford" decals on the side. The trailer was also holding tools.
