'Diva on a Dime' at Dutch Square

If you need to get rid of a few formal dresses and make some cash, "Diva on a Dime" is the event for you. 

Event organizers are accepting new and used formal dresses and accessories for their two-day sale at  on March 10 and 11. 

The sale, which will be in the , will include wedding dresses, prom dresses, shoes and other accessories. 

There is a $10 fee per five dresses entered into the sale, but all of the money from the sale of the dresses goes to the owner.

The event also gives shoppers who are on a budget the chance to find gently-used formal wear at reduced prices. More than 500 dresses have already been registered for the sale, organizers posted on the Facebook event page.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the New Hope Worship Center in Gaston, S.C.
